The link below enables you to download a pdf version of “The Inner Quality Philosophy of Ethics and Government.” Written from a mostly academic point of view, the purpose of this book is to explore some of the moral, social, and political implications of humanity being both material and spiritual in nature. If this dual character of man can be properly understood and utilized, then a fuller potential of mankind can be harnessed and used for the good of all. The book suggests that the key for integrating the material and spiritual sides of mankind is for individuals to know and express the character of their soul. I call this character the “inner quality” of man and argue that, in addition to its apparent spiritual origins, it also seems to be related to the evolutionary processes of altruism and empathy found within many species.
Subjects discussed include defining the inner quality, the inner quality philosophy of ethics in the context of traditional ethical theories, the inner quality philosophy of government in the context of tradition political theories, and a comparison of inner quality ethical and political theories with the views of 36 well-known philosophers from ancient to modern times.
